Warp Drive Race Park is a privately owned and operated family facility which was founded in 1996.   Its first start was at Windsor Airport, in a section of their parking lot.  It was  later expanded in 2005, where it is presently located.  It features the largest, concrete, road course in Canada, within a 7 acre facility.  It employs state-of-the-art go-karts which are meticulously maintained and reach speeds of up to 45km/h (28mph).

Since opening, Warp Drive Race Park has facilitated thousands of patrons and go-karting enthusiasts fulfill their need for speed through the arrive-and-drive approach.   The owners insist their staff uphold the maximum level of customer satisfaction, safety and service.  There have been countless accounts where the facility is hailed as the best ever, due to the diligence in personalized care, operations and overall conveniences and extras provided.
