MAKING LASTING MEMORIES
🚦 Driving Guidelines & Remote Control
-
If you’re driving unsafely, we will remotely reduce your speed.
-
New to our karts? Gently press the gas on your first lap to get comfortable before increasing speed.
-
Do not accellerate around turns if you are new to driving.
🏁 Track Etiquette
-
Staying slower? Keep to one side to allow faster drivers to pass safely.
-
It is NOT required you keep up with others! Drive a speed YOU are comfortable with!
-
When going fast, karts may fishtail in corners, ease off the gas to maintain control.
-
Brake firmly to avoid contact with karts stuck on the track.
-
No contact allowed: no bumping, pushing, spinning out, or cutting off others.
-
Non-contact is strictly enforced.
-
Stay in your lane on a busy track and avoiding weaving.
👀 Awareness & Control
-
Keep both hands on the wheel and feet inside the kart.
-
One-handed driving and leaning out are prohibited.
-
Always keep your eyes on the track ahead, especially in and around turns.
-
Drive at a comfortable pace, respect your own limits and those around you.
-
Do not press the gas and brake pedals at the same time, only 1 pedal at a time.
-
Gas is on the right, brake is on the left!
🛡️ Safety & Equipment
-
Ensure your seatbelt fits snugly, with the lap belt positioned low across your hips, not your midsection, and the shoulder straps are properly secured across your shoulders.
-
If the seatbelt shifts during your race, try to adjust them or pull IN FRONT the pit area SLOWLY and notify staff.
-
Staff may notice your seatbelt or pad shifting and will pull you over to adjust.
-
Helmets must remain securely strapped under your chin throughout your ride until you’ve exited the pit area at the end of your session.
-
Wear some form of footware. Sandals and flip-flops permitted. Closed toe shoes are recommended.
-
Our staff will assist with provided helmets and eyewear as well as your hair, when getting fitted. They will also ensure that all safety guidelines, in reguards to clothing and footwear requirements are checked before exiting the staging area.
-
Avoid loose clothing that could snag (scarves loose shirts/clothing).
-
Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied up so as not to come loose during your ride. We can provide hair ties as a courtasy.
🛎️ Stalls & Pit Area Protocol
-
If you stall or get stuck during your session, stay seated with belt fastened, take your feet off the pedals, raise your hand, and wait for staff to assist you.
-
Staff will always be on their way to you so stay seated until they reach you!
-
At session end, follow staff instruction. Enter the pit SLOWLY, using your brake not the gas!
-
Full brake compression is required to stop; pumping the pedal does not stop you.
-
Remain seated with your belt secure until all karts are pulled in and staff clears you to exit. Do not linger in the pit!
-
Keep your helmet secure until you’ve fully left the pit area.
-
Return helmet and glasses and dispose of caps in the trash.
👨👩👧👦 Family Karts & Motion Sickness
-
Zero tolerance for contact with 2‑seater family karts. Any incident (even accidental) may end your ride.
-
To prevent motion sickness, especially in children, avoid large meals before racing.
