General Questions Posed By Real Customers
We launched our go‑kart venture in 1996 within a small section of the Windsor Airport parking lot, operating there for four consecutive years until the city took over the airport. In 2005, we reopened on a permanent adjacent property, our current location, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the track.
We provide concession-style go-kart rentals for guests aged four and up (minimum height 40″ - 101.6cm - 3ft 4in), operating on two outdoor concrete tracks. The Main Track is a dynamic concrete road course. Drivers must be at least 54″ tall ( 137.16cm - 4ft 6in). The Junior Track is a smaller concrete oval for 40″–53″ drivers (101.6cm - 3ft 4in TO 137.16cm - 4ft 6in). In addition, our facility features a spacious picnic area with tables, plus free parking right next to the track for disabled guests and the elderly. There is also a spacious track-side viewing area with seating.
We feature four distinct go‑kart types:
• Main Track – Python (open-body, split-axle): Built for drivers 54″ +(137.16cm - 4ft 6in).
• Main Track – Scorpion (open-body, split-axle): Built for drivers 54″ + (101.6cm - 4ft 6in).
• Main Track – Viper (5 double-seat models): One adult driver 16+ with a child passenger over 40″ (101.6cm -3ft 4in).
• Main Track – Double Kart: A two‑adult kart reserved for our disabled guests, ideal for passengers who can’t drive but still want to experience the thrill of go-karts.
All Main Track karts are powered by 9 hp Honda engines.
• Junior Track Karts: Single-seat karts for drivers 40″–54″ on our oval circuit.
Kart Speeds at Our Track
• Main Track – Single-seat karts reach up to 45 km/h (28 mph).
• Main Track – Two-seat karts run slightly slower due to the added weight and size.
• Junior Track karts offer a more spirited ride—comparable to battery-operated children's jeeps, which typically travel around 6–8 km/h (3.7–5 mph)
All our karts feature remotely operated shut-offs that instantly cut the engine’s fuel or spark—effectively acting as a kill switch, a standard safety device on many vehicles and equipment designed for rapid shutdown in emergencies
This system allows us to slow individual karts—or the entire track—if needed. It’s particularly useful when a driver requires assistance or isn’t handling their kart properly. In situations where participants ignore rules or drive recklessly, we can remotely slow them at every turn or whenever they approach another kart, ensuring safety for everyone.
We’ve maintained a spotless safety record, no rollovers in all our years of operation (20+ years). Our karts feature a very low center of gravity, minimizing the risk of flips, especially when combined with our rigorous safety protocols.
We have never had a serious injury claim!
Our rules are in place to ensure the safety of all visitors. Failure to follow them may result in loss of control and increase the risk of collisions with barriers or other karts, which can lead to minor injuries such as bruising from seatbelts.
No Outside Karts Allowed
To uphold safety, compatibility, and regulatory standards, we do not permit external karts on our track. Here’s why:
• Safety & Design Compatibility Per Ontario regulations, simultaneously operating karts must have compatible speed, bumpers, body parts, and wheels, and different classes are not permitted on the same track Incompatible karts may not fit, handle, or stop as expected.
• Barrier & Track Integrity Track layouts are engineered specifically for our fleet—barriers, guard zones and track width all assume standard kart dimensions. Introducing outside karts could compromise barrier effectiveness and risk run-overs or karts breaching safety fencing.
• Manufacturer & Regulatory Compliance Our karts meet rigorous design, center-of-gravity, and guarding standards required by safety regulations. Unsupported or unfamiliar kart types may not meet these specs, increasing risk to the kart and driver.
Helmet Sanitation Protocol
1. Disinfectant Spray (Exterior & Interior) After each use, helmets are thoroughly sprayed on all outer surfaces and wiped clean. The interior also receives Lysol® spray, targeting bacteria and viruses with its active benzalkonium chloride and ethanol solution
2. UVC Sanitizing Cubicle (10-minute cycle) Helmets are then placed in our UVC sanitization cubicle for a full 10 minutes. UVC light (200–400 nm) is widely used in commercial helm-cleaning systems to destroy pathogens
🔬 Why This Combination Works
• Spray + UVC = Two-layer protection Lysol acts as a chemical disinfectant, while UVC targets microbes via radiation—covering different types of pathogens for thorough decontamination .
👒 Hairnet Barrier for Helmet Hygiene
To add an extra layer of protection, we provide one-time-use hairnets to all patrons. This prevents hair from contacting the interior surfaces of our helmets—maintaining cleanliness and keeping liners fresh between.
By using hairnets, we uphold a higher standard of hygiene and enhance both rider comfort and helmet longevity—another way we care for your experience.
Pregnancy & Back-Condition Advisory
We strongly advise against go-karting if you are pregnant or suffer from back issues. The activity involves:
• Intense vibration and jolts due to the lack of suspension and track impacts, these can strain the spine and exacerbate back conditions .
• Sudden accelerations, sharp turns, and potential collisions, which may pose risks to both expectant mothers and their unborn children, including placental abruption or miscarriage.
• Overall physical strain and G‑forces, especially during tight corners and bumps, this can lead to discomfort, aggravate back pain, or elevate health risks
• Whole-body vibration exposure, which in occupational settings has been linked to hypertension and pregnancy complications.
Fracture Safety Advisory
We strongly advise against go‑karting for anyone with healing or recently healed fractures, including spinal, rib, or limb injuries. Here’s why:
• Whole‑body vibration (WBV)—common in go‑karting—can unpredictably influence bone healing.
• High‑impact forces from track bumps, jolts, or minor collisions can stress healing bones, risking re‑injury or slowing recovery. That’s why medical guidance typically advises avoiding high‑impact, vibration‑heavy activities during fracture healing.
In-Session Behavior & Ticket Policy
If the track session begins and a driver is handling their kart responsibly, slowing appropriately around turns to avoid spins, they may be allowed to complete their ride as planned. However, if a driver is unable to manage their kart safely, or if the rain is excessive, they will immediately be removed from their remaining time.
• Drivers receive tickets valid for another day for the remaining time.
• If a ticket is purchased but not used at all, it must be authorized for any future visit
This ensures both track safety and fairness to all guests
Timing & Kart Assignment Process
Upon purchasing your entry ticket, the following steps ensure a smooth and fair experience:
1. Ticket Scanning: Your ticket is scanned into our system before entering the pit area.
2. Kart Assignment: You will be assigned a specific kart, which is also entered into our system.
3. Time Tracking: Our computer program monitors your session time from the moment you leave the pit area.
4. Session Completion: When your allotted time expires, our system notifies staff to guide you back into the pit area to complete your ride.
This system ensures accurate timing and a consistent experience for all patrons.
Driver Control & Safety Policy
Maintaining control of your go-kart is essential for the safety of all patrons. If a driver is unable to manage their kart safely, such as by spinning out, erratic driving, or failing to navigate turns appropriately, they will be:
• Removed from the track immediately.
• Offered an alternative experience:
• Ride as a passenger in a two-seater kart.
• Drive on the Junior Track, if eligible.
This policy ensures a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Please refer to our Rules page for detailed safety guidelines and expectations.
Helmet Policy for Turban-Wearing Patrons
Our facility adheres to the safety standards set by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), which governs amusement rides in Ontario. As per TSSA regulations, all riders must wear a safety helmet while operating a go-kart. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all participants.
We understand that wearing a helmet over a turban can be challenging. To accommodate this, we recommend that patrons wear a smaller turban that fits comfortably under the helmet. This adjustment allows you to participate in the go-kart experience while respecting your religious practices.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Driving a go-kart is very easy to do provided they are driven at a speed you are comfortable with. There is a gas pedal and a brake. The steering wheel column is between your legs. You must use 2 feet to drive but only press the brake pedal when you want to slow down suddenly or stop. Letting go of the gas pedal will slow your kart enough to gain control again.
At this time we do not offer leagues. We offer timing for registered members who will receive results via text or email, as well as best times and overall standing. Guests will not receive this perk but can view their time, temporarily, on screen after their race.
We are sponsoring THE BIG RACE which can be found here for more information: www.thebigrace.ca(http://www.thebigrace.ca)
Pets are welcome at our facility, we consider them part of the family! Our park-like setting offers plenty of space for them to enjoy the outdoors and play in the grass.
For the comfort and safety of all guests, please keep your pet under control at all times or on a leash, especially around unfamiliar people. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please dispose of waste properly and bring fresh water for them during your visit.

Pets must not be left unattended while you are racing or anywhere on the property. The facility does not assume any responsibility for pets at any time. Any injury caused to your pet or to others by your pet is the owner’s responsibility. If your pet has an aggressive nature or is sensitive to loud noises and/or unfamiliar environments, we ask that you do not bring them to the facility.
Free parking is available on-site, on a gravel surface with parking spaces. Designated handicap parking is available near the pay booth, for individuals with disabilities and elderly guests, to easly access the track.
Please do not leave your vehicle in the parking lot while leaving the facility with others for dinner or shopping, as weather conditions are unpredictable and the facility must be secured when we leave. Vehicles left behind will be locked inside the fenced area and may not be accessible until the facility reopens, which could take one to two days depending on weather conditions.
